This Ceiling Fan / Light pull chain knob, handle, finial, fob is engineered for seamless use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain. It also works perfectly with smaller chains when paired with a #6 metal connector. THIS PAIR IS IDEAL FOR A CEILING FAN / LIGHT COMBO. THEY REQUIRE MINIMAL SUPPORTS. To assemble, simply thread the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it. For ball chain and metal connector combinations, form a loop around a keyring and hook with the other end of the connector. If you lack a metal connector, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've included. NOTE: when printing in PLA, be aware that the fit is quite tight. Place the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain, and push down until it snaps into place. You can also utilize string with a large knot tied in the end for an alternative solution. When printing this design, I recommend using 10% infill - however, for ceiling fan applications, consider increasing the infill percentage for added weight and stability.
