You can view images of my recent projects at https://tinyurl.com/y4redcxv or watch this video: https://youtu.be/D5KGGR8VxYI As a collector of unusual items, I've created over 200 Buddha remixes. Recently, I stumbled upon cane and walking stick toppers that I thought would make an excellent collection of remixes. You can create an impressive solid oak cane or walking stick for approximately $7. In addition to the printed topper of your choice, you'll need a 1” oak dowel, which costs around $6 at Home Depot, and a set of 4 1” rubber leg tips, priced at about $4. Below are links for reference purposes only: * 1” Oak Dowel: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Builder-s-Choice-1-in-x-36-in-Oak-Round-Dowel-HDDO136/206184686 * 1” Leg Tip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QD30TE The topper .stl file is specifically designed for the 1” dowel when printed at 100% scale. If you want to use it on a different size stick, simply adjust accordingly. I print my projects at 20% infill and then paint them before applying a 2-part epoxy resin coat to achieve a deep gloss and added strength. You can purchase this resin on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB To assemble the walking stick, simply print the topper, glue it onto the finished dowel (which should be sanded and clear-coated), using your preferred adhesive. I use some of the 2-part resin mixed up for the final topper coat.
