Darth Vader / Tie Fighter fidget spinner
thingiverse
This is an innovative mashup of a Tie fighter and Darth Vader's iconic spaceship design, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with a functional 3D printer.\r\n\r\nThe model was printed in four sections, with the flat side facing down for a neat finish. I've included a complete STL file for those who want to get up close and personal with this awesome creation.\r\n\r\nTo assemble the Tie Vader, you'll need:\r\n\r\nOne 608 bearing\r\nEight M2 8 Allen machine screws\r\nTwelve M2 12 Allen machine screws\r\nSixteen M2 16 Allen machine screws\r\n\r\nThis is my third prototype, and I'm still tweaking it to perfection. In the second iteration, I encountered some issues with infill at the bearing arm intersection, which led me to thicken the junction. My plan is to run another print soon to verify that the clearances are spot on.
