Darth Vader Melted Mask

Darth Vader Melted Mask

I've been on the hunt for a truly exceptional Vader Mask, and I'm thrilled to share that I've found one that stands out from the rest. The model itself had some minor flaws, but with the software's help, those errors were quickly rectified. Next, I made some adjustments to its positioning to ensure it would print flawlessly. To get the best results, I recommend scaling down the model to 70% of its original size. Feel free to experiment and find the perfect scale for your needs. When printing this particular model at 70%, be prepared for a longer print time - about 13 hours, to be exact. This is because it requires a 5% infill, which can slow down the process. One crucial note: removing supports from this design can be a challenge. It's essential to take your time and use the right tools for the job. I highly recommend using small spring-assisted needle-nose pliers as well as a tiny flat-head screwdriver to carefully remove the supports. Double-check the STL model to ensure you're removing them in the correct areas. If you're interested, the original designer has also created a hollow version of this design, which I may share later. However, it's worth noting that it can be more difficult to perfect than this one. I'm excited to see what amazing prints you'll create with this design! If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to check out the original designer's page at http://impression3d.laposte.fr/en/3d-model/art/darth-vader-melted-mask.
