Darth Vader Bust - One Piece

Darth Vader Bust - One Piece

thingiverse

I just got my 3D printer two weeks ago, so this is my first attempt at making or remixing anything, so be gentle . I wanted the complete Darth Vader bust as one unit, so I simply inserted a wedge into his head and made it work. I used supports where they touched the buildplate and ended up using a raft just to make sure it would stick (the Creality slicer picture doesn't show the raft I selected because I tried without first and it wiggled loose). It took me over 14 hours to print at the settings in the picture. I did a shell of 4mm just to make sure it would be solid enough to handle without breaking. Thanks to Nakwada at Pinshape and sarf2k4, who I remixed from. It printed really well for me on my Ender 5. I'd love to try printing it at .1 resolution but wow, the time it takes! Those pictures have no post-printing or processing done - I just removed the support structures. The pictures are sideways - I have no idea how to turn them as I tried everything and Thingiverse keeps them sideways. Guess I should take them landscape on my phone and then maybe they would be portrait. Made a base for it - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3989242
