I'm continuing my optical explorations - creating 3D printed "holographic" images that emerge due to a slight shift in linear structure. Although we see the relief, the object itself lacks protrusions and dents, unlike lithophany, which is why I call it "flat sculpture." When you tilt a shape or light source, the image appears and disappears, its shapes illuminate or darken. Everything is printed without post-processing using one material on an FDM or SLA printer. The image is best viewed against contrasting backdrop material or under lighting from the top or bottom of the back. Photos don't convey the effect well; it's better to watch the video: https://youtu.be/5vaGkG7Jeyw You can also download the skull model made on this principle: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/31544-david-3d-printed-quasi-holography And the head of David: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/31556 For convenience, I used a rotating table to turn the figure, which can be downloaded here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4354193
