Darth Peter (kind of)
thingiverse
I started off by using a selfie of my friend Peter, which I converted into 3D with Simplify3D. Then, I sculpted it even more in Meshmixer and decided to put what was left of Peter's head onto Darth Vader's body. I think only Peter's eyes are still on that head. Hehehe, it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Supports: Yes Resolution: About 170mm high Infill: 30% Notes: I used a 0.4 nozzle with a layer height of either 0.13 or 0.15. I tried using a 0.25 nozzle with a layer height of 0.08, but I had problems getting enough plastic out. After learning that I printed too hot for the small nozzle, I adjusted my settings. The head comes off easily due to some mesh inside that causes it to detach. I'm still trying to figure out how to fix this issue, so any tips are greatly appreciated.
