I used Double_Alfa's design to create a planter from scratch. Printing this model will require dual extrusion capabilities. In addition to the hole in the top, I modeled a water reservoir inside the neck, complete with an overflow tube. This setup keeps the soil moist without requiring daily watering. To fill the reservoir, I recommend inserting a drinking straw from the top down before adding substrate. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable spot to model this in without consuming too much space or using more material than a standard drinking straw. When using this planter for the first time, monitor the plant closely over the initial few days as the new substrate will absorb a significant amount of water before reaching equilibrium. Optional, but highly recommended, is printing a dripping tray to accompany the planter. This can be done with dual extrusion and adds an extra layer of convenience. I've included merged files for both the head and tray for your reference.
