Dart Board LED Ring with magnetic feet
thingiverse
Many dart companies sell these LED rings for an exorbitant amount of money. This one won't cost you more than 20 euros. Things you'll need: - ABS (highly recommended) - A white LED strip that's at least two meters long - Several neodymium magnets - UHU plastic glue or aceton, which should work as well - Hot glue - Super glue - Sandpaper Print the following parts: - 7 Segment.stl files - 7 connector.stl files - 7 connector2.stl files - 4 foot.stl files After printing, remove all excess material from the segments and smooth out the ends with sandpaper. Connect the segments using UHU plastic glue or aceton. It will dissolve the ABS and weld the parts together - it doesn't work with other materials. Use the connector pieces to reinforce the glue points as shown in the pictures. Attach the feet with UHU plastic glue and attach two magnets to each foot with super glue. Finally, place your LED strip on the inside of the ring. If the adhesive strip on the LEDs isn't strong enough like mine, fix it with some hot glue. The assembly will take some time, but you'll end up with a beautiful-looking and extremely sturdy lighting ring that can withstand incoming darts with ease. Dimensions: 60 x 15.5 cm
