Dark Souls 3: Valorheart

The sword and shield, a formidable pair obtained through the new DLC for Dark Souls 3, have been my go-to weapons for quite some time now. I couldn't wait to breathe life into them, bringing their design from concept to reality. To bring this vision to life, I relied on various computer-aided design (CAD) software. The sword was crafted using Solidworks, while the shield required a combination of Solidworks, Meshmixer, and Autodesk Netfabb. Here is what you'll need: * 25 inches of 1/4 inch metal rod * Dark brown cloth * A variety of glue options, including super glue and hot glue * Post-processing materials for added detail To assemble these incredible pieces, follow this step-by-step guide: Assembly: The sword's spiral details can be printed without support, making it a breeze to create. To bring the sword to life: 1. Print all components in PLA. 2. Slide the first piece onto the metal rod and secure with glue. 3. Repeat this process, ensuring each piece aligns perfectly with the spiral design. 4. Post-process and paint for an authentic finish. 5. Wrap the handle in dark brown cloth. The shield's assembly is just as straightforward: 1. Print all components, including 15 connectors (preferably in PLA). 2. Use these connectors to assemble the pieces into rows, securing them with glue. 3. Connect the rows using more connectors and glue them together. 4. Post-process and paint for an authentic finish. 5. Wrap a piece of dark brown cloth loosely around the two loops on the back of the shield. 6. Secure the handle in place with dark brown cloth.
