These are the modified parts I used by Magnavis to build his model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4026233\r\n\r\nWorks like a charm. Here's a video of it opening: https://imgur.com/kmLfEuz\r\n\r\nHere is a rundown of what the parts are:\r\n\r\nTop magnet connector - This attaches between two quarter ring segments where hilts meet when closed, fitted for an 8x3mm magnet.\r\n\r\nHinge A & B - Tightened tolerance for hilt grip connection (if too tight, just sand down or let me know and I'll add a new one), holds up to 10 magnets, moved hex nut slot outside to make tension better, fits M3x30 and M3 nut. Use supports.\r\n\r\nMain hilt 001 split - Cut upper main section so red and silver parts could be printed separately without supports, refer to original render photo for placement.\r\n\r\nSupport rods - .35mm layer height horizontally printed rods forming the core of the build, about 1 cm too long on one side, had to cut it so plan ahead and cut or use wire cutter. No support needed.\r\n\r\nMini screws - These are little screws around metal details at top, tricky to print, use reinforced supports.\r\n\r\nMain hilt grip 001 & 002 split - Cut up grip sections for color swapping (pause & filament change) to get red into inner rings, no support needed. Two lower sections different heights so they would have to be color swapped in separate prints.\r\n\r\nMetal details ring/switch - Part separated into black and silver parts so no painting is needed, use supports for the ring.\r\n\r\nUpdate 2/9/20 Forgot to include black screw with indented hole, simply cosmetics for top part called "Switch", alternate part if you choose.\r\n\r\nUpdate 3/2/20 Added main grip as sections separated from red rings for easier printing, refer to photos for correct placement. Part called "Dark-Rey-Lightsaber-Main-Hilt-Grip-001__002_split_SILVER_short_x2.stl" is only needed once, not twice.
