Dark Repulser from Sword Art Online

Modeled after Kirito's second sword from the first arc of Sword Arts Online, I designed this one after being dissatisfied with the models found online. Still not fully satisfied with the decorative piece above the hilt, I plan to revise it in the future. This model is engineered to hold a 5/16 inch dowel down the middle for structural support and uses 3mm filament for alignment. Glue is required but ABS solvent welding works as seen on my printed version; prime and sand if desired or print it in the appropriate color, then swing it to look cool. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Custom I2 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3mm (0.4mm nozzle) Infill: 30% Notes: Pretty much safe to print; the model has been split into three-inch segments for printing in my printer, resulting in relatively short print times. I printed four pieces at a time, taking about eight hours per print. Post-Printing Insert the dowel down the center hole and cut two-inch segments of 3.0mm filament, pushing them into the side holes between segments. Apply glue to the connecting faces and hold them together/clamp until set. ABS solvent welding would work faster for those without clamps. Sanding, priming, and painting are recommended.
