A Remix of the Modular Castle by hugolours with a dark twist unfolds. Buttresses strategically placed in corners enable the integration of hugolours' "Fortification" 2" wall segments, creating an imposing fortress. The buttress piece can be situated at any level within the tower section, yielding distinct aesthetic effects. Placing it at the base gives the corners of the tower a haunting Gothic appearance, while placing it at the top, combined with either the bottom or top segment, evokes the foreboding presence of Barad Dur or Orthanc from Isengard. This modular design is perfect for 25/28 mm wargaming in fantasy or Warhammer settings. Gargoyle towers feature a plain brick façade and church windows, adding an eerie ambiance to the castle's structure. However, gargoyle towers currently do not allow the placement of 2" "Fortification" wall pieces at this time. This is an ongoing project, with new models being added in the future to further enhance the modular castle's dark theme.
