Dark Ages - Holy Roman Empire and Heritage of Charlemagne combined

NOW UPDATED WITH IMPROVED PLAYER PIECE TRAYS AND OPTIONS With a bit of effort, I have managed to get the following in one box, with all cards sleeved: Both rulebooks, map boards & culture boards Both sets of common culture cards, leaders etc Pieces for 6 players and 6 player boards* One set of barbarian figures Both sets of cities, churches, keeps and resource buildings Both sets of cardboard resources and coins Both sets of barbarian and skirmisher tokens and war tokens By using two HRE player boards and four from HoC, I can play either version - "upgrading" the peasants to light infantry using the barbarian cards if playing HRE. This will be enough for a four-player game on either map, or a six-player game on both maps, using everything bar the great buildings and commanders. Print two copies of the following, and six copies of the player piece trays: Cities tray; Larger card storage tray; Production buildings tray; Resources tray; Coins tray; Dice tray; Keeps tray; Culture cards card shoe; Plus one copy of the barbarian figures tray and one copy each of the barbarian token tray L and R. Alternatively, if you choose not to sleeve your cards this frees up enough space to include both games' Grand Buildings, Commanders AND the realistic resources. Skip printing the card shoes and the larger card storage tray, and instead and print out two of the unsleeved card holders, plus two Grand Buildings trays and two of the large resource trays. I could not find the room for the final two sets of player pieces and accompanying boards, but if you can put up with some lid lift feel free to include the boards and make some space in the Grand Buildings tray for two extra sets of player pieces.
