Human: Update movement 10-24-2019 https://youtu.be/4GgwZVIl7bM DAR Robotics eyes are one step up from Dakota67 Design, modified from his designs and even more advanced than InMoov. P.S. I will need help with programming, as it's not really my area of expertise. Eyeball-V2 updated 2/4/2019 - The first version had a major issue. Sorry guys. Update 2/12/2019: I may need to create a V3 of the eyeball, experiencing an unusual movement problem. I will update soon. Update 3/2/2019: Eyes V3 final, all parts working perfectly, completed this project. They can independently move both eye sockets and eyelids. The Idea can be adapted for InMoov, but it was designed specifically for my robot DAR. You can find the tongue, forearm, and fingers in my Design Files. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769189 1/24/2017 new DAR Forearm https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3387312 DAR tongue https://www.thingiverse.com/willy1067/designs DAR fingers https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3390938 DAR head https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3463899 DAR Neck 3/2/2019 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3398223 DAR Eyes 2/20/2019 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3518852 DAR Face 3/26/2019 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3882415 Lips 10/01/2019 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1k8LOtMjVc https://youtu.be/dOoeGsSZwnw P.S. If you like my projects, just tip me or support me by purchasing the materials. It will allow me to finance the DARA projects! I would really appreciate it! Instructions (as I do them): EYES 1. Print Eyeball (2x) and sand with 120 grid sandpaper until print lines disappear. 2. Sand with 220 grid paper and prime with plastic-compatible paint, then paint white. 3. Install the cameras and cover lenses with masking tape. (I got two from Ebay for $16, very small.) 4. Get some red yarn for details, cut to 3/4". 5. Buy two-part Clear Casting Epoxy at (Joann's) or online. (or use clear spray coat) 6. Order contact lenses from Ebay (your color of choice). 7. As you coat with the clear epoxy, add a few filaments from the red yarn. (not too much) Wait until it begins to harden, remove masking tapes from cameras and apply the contact lenses on top. 8. Buy 2x #6-32 x 1.5" crews and insert them from the back of the eye plate. (This screw will be useful in the future to adjust the position of the eye.) 9. Print the eyes support files EYEBROWS 1. Buy a stock #507 from a hobby shop. (1/8" x 36" music wire - Metal Bar) 2. Cut 2 pieces 1.8" long. (This metal is super strong, I had to use a dremel with a diamond blade.) 3. Blue the bottom ball and let it cure. (Do not glue end caps, as we need to insert another part)
