Danui Dial Indicator Support - Alternative Solution I recently remixed a support for my Danui Dial Indicator, which I purchased from Banggood. However, I wasn't satisfied with the front coupling on the printer. After printing the Bullseye fan modification for my Ender 3, I found that the original indicator support didn't fit properly. To resolve this issue, I created a new support that attaches to the backside of the printer. I'm eager to gather feedback from users and make improvements as needed. To ensure a perfect coupling, I recommend replacing the standard screws with longer ones. In my initial test, I simply positioned the support without making any adjustments. To prevent the indicator from moving during X/Y axis movements, I added a hole for a nylon strap within the model design. This allows for secure attachment and prevents damage to the indicator. Future updates will focus on simplifying the installation and removal process of the support. Additionally, I plan to specify the required screw sizes on the top side of the X carrier and add a spacer to the bottom side of the X carrier for improved stability. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out. To guide future development, I've compiled a TO DO LIST: 1. Improve fixation methods 2. Enhance hole design 3. Design a permanent fixture for the support 4. Strengthen the dial indicator's attachment mechanism
