This compass holder is meant as a replacement for the original mount that came with the compass already. On my boat, one of the mounting arms broke and I had to find a way to replace it. As I did not like the fact that you just remove the compass but leave the (bulky) holder in place where it can get damaged easily, I decided to design my replacement in such a way, that you can remove the whole mount and just leave a small and flat mounting plate in place. This way it is much less likely to get damaged by accident. Print in PETG as it will last longer under UV exposition. EDIT: 04/10/22 Updated the files. I changed the connection area between the two parts to have a little more room for the screw head.
