Replacement parts for the handle adapters/connectors that come with the Danco brand Tub/Shower Trim Kit for Moen faucets. I have made models for both Type A (Posi-Temp) and Type B (Moentrol). I needed this because the connector broke 3 times on my trim kit due to the cheap metal corroding over time and I was hoping plastic may last longer.I modeled by using a Type A adapter that hadn't been used yet (I have a type-b, but all mine were broken and discarded already), measuring most dimensions with calipers and eye-balling in a couple areas. May not be exact, but it fits my faucet without issue.v1 files are as close to the original as possible.v2 files have been modified to make them stronger and easier printing. The inner stem was beefed up and the outer ring was flattened on one side to allow it to sit flat on the build plate.See the install instructions for the original trim kit for selecting the correct type. The trim kit in question, Danco brand Tub/Shower Trim Kit for Moen. On my 2nd test I flipped it so the stop tabs are up which made the supports a lot easier to get to for removal (pictured). You may want to use settings in your slicer that allow for easier support removal. I tried to use settings to strengthen and avoid layer separation. Here is what I used in Cura and printed with Anycubic Kobra Neo using Overture PLA Professional filament..1mm layer height.6mm line width25mm/s speed10% fan speed3 walls, alternating extra wallSupports: I used supports to hold up the middle stem, but otherwise used blockers and steep overhang setting to prevent supports anywhere else (see photos) since appearance doesn't matter for a hidden plumbing part.Note for Cura. I found that if I had the “Top Surface Skin Layers” set to anything other than 0 it would print bad on several layers as it would make the entire layer a skin, leading to the part splitting apart. Not sure if this was caused by the slicer or the printer, but with 0 it printed fine.
