Danby Premier - Bucket Plug

The Danby Premier dehumidifier typically has a plug installed on its rear side to direct condensate into the built-in bucket. Nonetheless, with the plug removed and the provided tube inserted, the condensate can be redirected into a condensate pump or nearby drain. I encountered an issue where even with the rear hose connected, water continued to drain into both the interior bucket AND the rear hose. This is most likely caused by a dust/link buildup at some point in the junction. This plug is designed to be inserted into the interior drain port and restrict flow to the rear hose alone. Ideally, it should be manufactured from any nylon variant so that a snug seal can be achieved. I produced this part using Ultimaker TPU 95A.
