I tried the existing shells available here, but I found them to be somewhat inconsistent in their performance. In response, I decided to design and manufacture my own custom shells with a few key modifications aimed at improving consistency. The base of my shell is slightly thicker than standard designs, which helps maintain a secure air seal between the chamber and shell during firing. This ensures that the bb leaves the gun consistently centered, reducing the risk of inconsistent flight patterns. To facilitate easy testing and tuning, I have included multiple shell sizes in the file for your use. I found that the 3.2mm shells performed similarly to high-power brass shells, while the 2.8mm shells achieved a reliable velocity range of approximately 360fps to 330fps when using a fresh CO2 cartridge. For users who wish to perform further tuning or modifications, I have included both DWG and Fusion 360 files for your reference. These files provide a detailed representation of my shell design, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments to suit your specific needs.
