How many varieties of shock absorbers (dampers) are available for printer legs? Have you noticed that they all seem somewhat illogical and cumbersome? But there's such a fantastic material as silicone sealant, which is incredibly flexible yet firm enough. For my Tronxy XY-2 printer, I discovered it was sufficient to create 4 seals under the legs, each 3 mm thick. If your printer is heavier, you can increase the size of the seal, and the elasticity of the seal is easily controlled by its thickness. Making seals has never been easier; simply shape the ring to your desired thickness and fill it with silicone. To print the matrix (so that the pads are inserted inside the legs), apply hand cream to the interior with a cotton swab, smear all surfaces with a toothpick coated with sealant inside the matrix, and then fill it with silicone sealant. The model is straightforward. You can create it in any basic 3D editor.
