Dampening Pad Silicone Mold for 3D Printer
thingiverse
I'm taking steps to minimize the noise coming from my delta style 3D printer, which is currently vibrating on top of my wooden workbench. To achieve this, I've decided to create custom feet using a silicone recipe that I found online. My plan is to fill the mold with the silicone and then secure it to the 2020 aluminum extrusion frame using M4 socket head cap screws. The silicone recipe can be found on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fwytA5r2Mw. Here are my print settings: Printer: MicroMake Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.08 mm Infill: 50%
