Looking for a cost-effective GPS solution for my Polaris Slingshot, I purchased a mount but discovered it vibrated excessively, causing discomfort. The phone always seemed on the verge of ejecting itself when encountering moderate bumps. A $12 mount from Amazon and $15 worth of shocks from a local hobby shop ($10 on eBay) were invested. Ideally, I would have opted for dedicated GPS, but it would either be an attractive target for theft or require removal every time the vehicle was parked. This design isn't complete, yet appears to function adequately with the Slingshot's various extreme angles. The collar is placed inline with the collar screw and secured by 3M automotive tape on a bracket.
