A couple of years back, a dead projector landed in my hands. It was a fun project to tear it apart, and as I did, an idea struck me - why not use the lens to create a Dalek eye-stalk? So I set out to make one. Please note that this is far from an accurate replica; I designed it specifically to work with the projector lens and a spare piece of conduit I had on hand. Don't get me wrong, it's just a fun imitation, not meant to be taken seriously. Scale-wise, it's off, but I aimed for a look that works well with old Eiki projector lenses. Two years have passed since I started working on this project, and I've been hesitant to share it due to my knowledge of how passionate prop builders can get. They can become quite obsessive about details.
