Quick Fix for a Classic Light Switch Cover: A Dalek Makeover. I gave an existing light switch cover a simple remix, adding a menacing Dalek image to give it a sci-fi twist. I created two different versions - one with a larger Dalek that takes up more space, but has overhangs that require extra support and may be prone to breakage at its edges. The second version is optimized to fit the entire Dalek onto the faceplate, reducing these minor drawbacks and resulting in a cleaner look for the switch plate. I haven't printed either design yet to test the fitment, but the original file seems to have passed inspection with flying colors. Obviously, this project will need supports underneath the switch plate, as most of its underside is elevated.
