Over the past few years, I've been crafting a life-size Dalek, with one aspect that never quite pleased me: my homemade energy weapon. With a 3D printer in hand, I decided it was time for an upgrade. The design retained the plasma/lightning tube from a toy, but if you're making your own Dalek, replace it with a plastic tube or create a center rod. I also neglected to include the servo screw holes in my print; I added them post-printing with a drill. For the cage, I opted for 1/4 plastic tubing instead of printing it due to size constraints on my Mosaic printer. This print was the largest and most intricate project I've tackled so far with my machine.
