My friend was eager to channel her inner Dalek for Halloween, so I crafted and printed this fearsome Dalek eye helmet for her. Securing it firmly to your head with either one substantial hair band or two small ones is a breeze. The impact is nothing short of astonishing when the lights go out. With this wicked accessory, you'll be ready to take on the universe with an unrelenting battle cry: "Exterminate!" \n Instructions: I've kindly provided SketchUp files so you can tweak and perfect the design as you see fit. Additionally, I've included STL files for those who simply want a hassle-free printing experience. There's no need to print 1.5 Eye Cup Test Fit unless you're convinced the Eye Cup and Iris will align seamlessly together; I recommend testing the fit nonetheless. Print Settings: Cura Layer Height - 0.1 mm Shell Thickness - 0.8 mm Bottom/Top Thickness: 0.2 mm Fill Density: 20% Flow: 100% Platform Adhesion: Brim (this works well on most occasions) For the Eye Cup and Head Mount Bottom prints, I employed support structures. Assemble everything using super glue; you'll also need a 1/2 inch wooden dowel to link the Eye assembly with the Head Mount assembly. To power your new Dalek eye, simply use an Ultralast 2032 coin cell battery from microcenter.
