Dalek City Playset
thingiverse
This is a Dalek City interior in the style of its original appearance in the 1963 story 'The Daleks'. By, in the style of, I mean the individual details are still be as screen accurate as I can make them, but the layout and size of the room are modular and more to my choice than a slavish copy of the BBC set. As it develops I will be happy to incorporate elements from later episodes (and possibly later a side room for the emperor's Evil of the Daleks set). At the time of publishing the parts should allow you to build:- The control Room, the alcove off the control room where the Doctor and Susan were magnetically restrained to the wall, a corridor with sliding doors, the room where the Doctor's team were kept prisoner, the lift shaft up which they made their escape to the room with the viewing window where they saw the Thals about to walk into an ambush. 2/10/20 Added the incongruous Dalek artwork that was only there so that our heroes had something to push down the lift shaft. 30/03/21 Added the prison cell sleeping bench. Since Daleks wouldn't use a bench I have converted it to a storage box with a hinged lid. 07/04/21 I have redesigned the way the magnets are attached for the magnetic restraints. Previously the magnets were mounted in the wall, now they are mounted in a holder that stands behind any of the thinner walls. Giving more flexibility and a stronger magnetic pull.
