DajiJug the Hexapod
thingiverse
This hexapod robot is controlled by a Red Back Spider controller, with video of its first steps available at the given link. New features include beta code for controlling the robot via Arduino or Android. The design files have been completely rebuilt and include DXF and SVG files for the tibia pin, while all other parts are created using OpenSCAD. Used servos are Hitec HS 645MG with Heavy Duty HD-LS and HS 485HB with R-X Servo Arm. The STL files are included or can be generated using OpenSCAD. Twelve 645MG servos are used for the tibia and femur, while six 485HB servos are used for the coxa. All parts require M3 bolts. The main body is split into two printable sections. Control code for Arduino and Android can be found at https://github.com/maartenweyn/DajiJug.
