The delicate flower known as Daisy Earthstar unfurls its petals wide open. Geastrum floriforme is the scientific name given to this rare species. A special thanks goes out to Melissa Islam at the Denver Botanic Gardens for providing the specimen used in this 3D imaging project, led by Anne Basham.
