This is an adapter that allows the installation of Mossberg 500 stocks on the Daisy 880, 822, 922, and Winchester 1977XS. To mount the stock this adapter is used on the stock and a bolt plate is required for the receiver. Therefore the second model does not have the boss that fits into the recess.
