Daisy 880 Stock
thingiverse
These are stock models for the Daisy pumpers. This stock is perfect for metal receiver guns using the wood stock receiver plate. I also included a version for the plastic receivers. The ones in the images were printed with wood PLA and are very much like real wood stocks. They can be sanded, stained and finished. The best orientation for printing is horizontal so that the layers are running in the same direction as wood grain would be. It is the best looking and the strongest due to layer orientation. Use supports only touching the bed. There should not be a need for supports in the drawbar bolt hole. It will be a nightmare to remove those supports, don't ask how I know. Also a 2.4mm wall thickness is good for strength, weight, and sanding allowance. 15% infill works well. The back of the stock needs to be tapped for M4. Use M4 socket head cap screws to mount the butt plate. For the plastic receiver versions printing vertically might be required due to the interface horizontal faces, but printing vertically will also be weaker due to layer orientation. If printing a plastic receiver version horizontally supports everywhere are fine since the draw bar will not be used. The metal receiver stocks use a 5/16" bolt that is 5.5" long to mount to the receivers . They fit very secure and tight. No more wobbly stocks. They fit most Daisy pumpers but require the wood stock mounting plate for metal receivers. These came in Daisys that had wood stocks from the factory but can also be purchased separately from Ronno6 at the Gateway-To-Airguns. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/ Ron can also be contacted through ebay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=ronno6&_oac=1
