The Diamond DA-20 is a two-seat low wing tricycle landing gear aircraft, designed for flight training and personal air travel. Initially powered by a Rotax engine, later versions featured the Continental O-240-B powerplant. The Katana aims to rival the Cessna 150, offering comparable functionality but with higher cruising speeds and a bubble canopy that enhances visibility for pilots. However, it may lead to elevated cockpit temperatures due to greenhouse effect, which can be mitigated by ventilation. The glide ratio of Katana ranges from 11:1 to 14:1, outperforming Cessna 150's 7:1 ratio. Aspen Avionics glass cockpit is a key feature of this aircraft. It boasts numerous animatable parts like propeller, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, and canopy. The cockpit comes with a glass instrument panel resembling the Aspen glass cockpit.
