Daimond DA-20 Katana V04 3D model
cgtrader
The Diamond DA-20 is a two-seat low-wing aircraft designed for flight training and personal travel, initially powered by Rotax engines but later with Continental O-240-B engines. Competing with the Cessna 150, it's constructed using composites, offers better cruising speed, and a bubble canopy for enhanced visibility. However, cockpit temperature may be higher due to the greenhouse effect of the canopy. Ventilation options are available on either side of the canopy. The Katana boasts a glide ratio of 11:1 or 14:1 (depending on model) compared to Cessna's 7:1, making it superior in this aspect. It also features an Aspen Avionics glass cockpit as a primary option. This highly detailed model includes animatable parts like the propeller, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, and canopy, with a glass instrument panel similar to the Aspen glass cockpit.
