On Day 10 of my collection of printable equations, I've followed gregsmith_to's request for the Sinc function, y = asin(bx)/(b*x), which is used in signal processing (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinc_function). Two different versions are uploaded with varying ranges: 0.001 to 200 and 0.001 to 100, accompanied by b values of 1080/200 (1st) and 720/100 (2nd). The original algorithm for creating thick curves is used but an improved version is underway to filter artifacts. As always, one equation per day will be posted until boredom or lack of interest sets in; feel free to leave a comment with your preferred equation. Printing without support is possible, and photos were taken using a Replicator 2 with Makerware's standard settings.
