Daily_Earring2013#58: Plotter 2,5D (similar to a A Sketch-Etcher Toy) with pencil holder

A brief video demonstration is available at http://youtu.be/tcW8MQRStng. The author of this post apologizes for the delay in posting due to 50 earrings needing photography and uploading. Look forward to a rotating washing machine, spinning table saw, and more innovations! Intrigued by a 3D-printed earring idea after watching http://youtube.com/watch?v=hfAFWzh2VEM, the author created a simple plotter earring. Despite not being as sophisticated as the original, it moves and works well. Created hastily, the plotter has limitations regarding size and may be scaled down with adjustments in tolerances/clearances. Key features include X and Y axes, pen up/down switch, pencil holder, turn-dials with segment digits, and an earring loop. The author suggests placing gear rods in the center for stability but acknowledges it would make the plotter thicker. Render pictures are from an older version. Please run the file through a repair tool like Netfabb to avoid printing errors. An untested revision is available but requires repairs before printing. The author apologizes for an overwhelming number of updates but promises that version 5h and the smaller x0.7 version work well with minimal glue and cleaning required. Some minor changes are still untested, but overall, the plotter functions correctly. Printing instructions include raft usage, layer settings, and support material suggestions. Additional cubes are included to increase adhesion during printing.
