DaGHIZmo's plotter is truly exceptional. Over time, I've made some deliberate modifications to enhance its performance. 1) Initially, the arms were designed for beaded chain applications. This modified version utilizes arms specifically engineered for GT2-6 timing belts. I utilize these arms in conjunction with a hook that securely attaches to the end of the GT2 timing belt via press-fitting. The hook is 8mm wide, perfectly fitting into the corresponding hole on the arm's end. If you don't have hooks available, you can simply pass the belt through the hole, fold it back onto itself, and secure it with a zip tie or zap strap. I personally prefer the hook because it allows for more precise control over the distance between the pen and motors. 2) The original body featured an M4 nut held in place by friction fit within the plastic. I've updated part FCE.1501.01.005_fix_r01 (now r02) to securely hold an M4 nut. 3) The weight holder now incorporates a lip that prevents the retaining ring from slipping off, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
