I purchased a complete vehicle to disassemble, and the sunroof was missing some crucial components. These parts secure the metal pins that hold the handle in place for opening the sunroof. With these components, your sunroof is as good as new. The smaller part (red) is an extra-hard-to-reach lock mechanism. The handle has a button that also locks the roof at a certain angle, but it can be easily opened from the outside with a wire. I will test them before cutting a hole in my car with an angle grinder.
