DAEMON 3D Printable 3D Printer T8 Lead Screw Bed
thingiverse
This is a minor tweak to the original Daemon 3D printer bed, tailored to fit an T8 lead screw instead of M5 nuts/rod. Lead screws are undoubtedly pricier than M5 rods, but they're also smoother and more precise. A 200mm long lead screw fits perfectly, and you can snag it for around $4 along with a brass nut. Edit: After further inspection, I discovered that the original bed design was wobbling slightly more than I felt comfortable with, so I created a reinforced version. It's overkill, but it does eliminate any wobble, consuming approximately 250-300 grams of plastic in the process. The reinforced design also features slots for 8mm springs to ensure smoother bed leveling.
