Daedric Dagger with Compartment

In a similar vein to the DnD Dice Swords, this is a Daedric styled dagger with a compartment for small dice, folded character sheets, or whatever you might want to put into the space. I could not make the compartment large enough for a standard DnD 7 dice set without making it too bulky. It is already considerably wider than depicted in videogames. The cut-outs are for 6x2mm round magnets I bought on amazon. There are 6 spots on 2 sides totaling 12 spots for magnets, you can possibly get away with using fewer. There is some friction from the wells the magnets sit in and the edges of the blade portion, it should not come loose. There is a cutaway above the panel for your finger for easy removal. There are spaces for 200x2mm metal rods for structural stability if you need it, although the pieces all have a lot of surface area to grip the adhesive necessary to combine the pieces very well. Print orientation can be a little bit tricky for these. I recommend placing them at an inclined angle for the best detail reproduction and strength. Settings may vary, you will need supports and I recommend tree supports for the easiest removal. Everything has been tested and is printable. I have printed several of these in PLA. There are pictures of unpainted in black and brown, one with a black-red coextruded filament, and one that I painted. If you intend to paint, I recommend printing in black, using silver rub n buff to bring out the sharp edges, adding red to the spots that match the game textures, and then go over everything with a black-wash. This method is quick, and the limited amount of actual paint used should mean that you can handle it without the paint rubbing off. If you are worried about rain or constant handling, you can seal the entire thing. To match the game counterpart I would recommend a matte spray topcoat, but satin will probably be fine. Be careful placing this into a bag. There are a lot of weird sharp corners that could easily catch on something, if you keep pulling you might rip what it catches on or snap the pieces. Handle with care and it will be fine. I could not really do anything to mitigate this without drastically altering what is essentially a super impractical design from a videogame. The ideal carry solution for this would be to put it into some kind of case, even a cardboard box you can tote it around in would help reduce snagging. The file "Daedric Dagger - Combined" is included as an assembly reference. I do not recommend printing it as one piece, it is not fused or designed for that.
