Daedalus Frameplates V1.0
thingiverse
These are the frameplates specifically designed for the Daedalus I.O model. Other proprietary components for this frame can be found among my other files as well. Although this is a very early public version, everything should fit together smoothly. Included are a .SVG and a .PDF file with precise measurements of the frame. They can be used directly in a laser cutter or printed out if you want to make the frameplates by hand. The curves are actually pretty easy to create manually; I've tried it myself a few times. Recommended materials for this project include 3mm birch plywood when laser cutting and 1mm-1.5mm carbon fibre plates if you prefer that route. Currently, I am flying with 1mm carbon plates and they work perfectly.
