DabRocket V1.0
thingiverse
I'm modifying a heat gun for safe tabletop use. I've used a Wagner heatgun core and cord to create this modified version. To improve safety, I've added a toggle switch and tip-over switch to replace the stock switch, along with a new 1/2" strain relief for the cord. A standard 50mm Thin Wall Borosilicate glass tube is cut and fire polished to 120mm to serve as the sleeve around the core. Two millimeter by five millimeter screws connect the ring to the top cone, securing the heat gun core in place. Adjust the mounting ring for a secure fit, making it 200% thicker if you don't want to glue the top on. This is version one point zero, and I'm still refining the design. Improvements are being made to enhance printability and overall performance. Better instructions will be available soon, providing clearer guidance for users.
