Da Vinci worm gear

This is a worm gear based on the machine designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. We crafted our design using standard wooden sticks - six, eight, and ten millimeters in size, with the remainder manufactured via 3D printing at an affordable cost. The base of this project was laser-cut from acrylic, but you can easily substitute it with MDF or wood, or any other material that suits your needs. When it comes to screws, we opted for M3, along with small screws specifically designed for use in wood.
