Remix of Da Vinci Pro Extruder Fan support by shotgun_banjo. I'd like to extend massive credit to shotgun_banjo for this outstanding design and project. Initially, I encountered difficulties in printing the long arm attachment with sufficient strength, so I took the bold step of cutting it into three pieces and securing them together using a reliable adhesive. To avoid any potential issues during slicing, I decided to redraw and re-extrude the part. This clever approach prevented the holes that appeared when I sliced the original cut-up design. For added stability and strength, I recommend printing all three parts flat. Due to their high thermal demands over time, these components necessitate a substantial infill percentage. Innovative thinking led me to ditch screws and bolts in favor of zip ties for assembly. The electrical setup consisted of a simple two-pole on/off switch paired with an efficient 110 AC plug converter that effortlessly converted the power supply to a reliable 12-volt DC current. For optimal performance, I wired the fans in parallel. The outcome was nothing short of remarkable - a significant improvement! My sincerest appreciation goes out to shotgun_banjo for creating this incredible project that has made a substantial difference.
