Fume Filter Holder for the fan vent at the back of the Da Vinci Junior 3D Printer attaches easily to the existing setup. Requires a carbon foam filter or similar material to be inserted into its inner space. UPDATE: The design has now been optimized, separating the filter holder and cap into two distinct models that can fit within a 15cm print bed size. This updated version includes separate models for the Grip Plug and cap, which enables them to be printed independently without support structures in place. To avoid minor issues with previous versions, we recommend printing using V2 Files only. High-quality prints made at a layer height of 0.3 can now be shared, allowing us to improve our designs based on feedback and shared experiences. To get the most out of your Fume Filter Holder: Print the main holder with minimal support required at areas like the square cutout inside it's where the filter foam goes. The cap and plug can be printed without support. Mount the unit firmly to the printer by using double-sided tape, Duck Tape or Super Glue if you're confident in handling adhesives securely. Insert your filter foam of choice into the pre-marked area and glue in place once properly aligned, making sure there are no gaps. The cap fits snugly into position, with one side for ease when swapping filters comes handy - so go ahead now to install yours.
