Da Vinci GoPro Camera mount - Hero 2 Version
thingiverse
I'm looking for a straightforward way to remove the Da Vinci Camera mount from my older Hero 2 Camera. The design should be simple and effortless, allowing for seamless use of the GoPro BackPak for remote control whenever I need it. The setup fits perfectly inside with the door closed. This is a custom 'fixed in place' version using the bed clamp found at: www.thingiverse.com/thing:828083 and the GoPro Hero Frame Case available at: www.thingiverse.com/thing:213280. It should work well with the XYZPrinting Da Vinci 1.0/1.0a/2.0. I created this model using Lightwave 11.6 and the DaVinci 1.0a. Remember, remove the mount before going through the calibration procedure. If you downloaded version 2, be aware that it was a shorter prototype and you may want to use v2-1 instead to avoid any issues during test strip printing. I've also made improvements in Version PLUS 35 which allows for a proper fit without any calibration issues. Check out how it works in action at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfkruL39vlQ
