https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMNWQOgEqBE&t=1s The holes in the front of the casing matched the buttons and the display's solder points almost mockingly. The printer will be a Work In Progress for some time to come My ultimate goal is to use the Da Vinci frame and create an incredibly efficient, feature-rich machine. I stripped away everything from the entire printer that I didn't want and installed Repetier. I combined several mods and tweaked a few things: Added so far: -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2011713 - 3Dator inspired Extruder -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1510425 - Just the hotend adapter for E3D -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1087387 -- Aluminum bed -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:911533 -- Side camera addon (instead of a GoPro, I just broke down an old Xbox camera and glued it to Phredie's design) -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:747023 -- z-axis anti-wobble, and liked Mi7che11's spin on it -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1680034 -- 3Dator Y-piece (start to dual extrusion) -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:869384/#made - saved me from a headache of noisy chatter. Recommend whether you have loose bushings or not, definitely keeps things snug LCD relocate: The display swap wasn't terrible but did require drilling out a little more metal to fit the "OK" button: unsolder and make LCD removable: move the cable under the case: moved the LED strip so the other had room. Note: Don't mind any suggestions or comments. So, any ideas let me know! And it'd be nice to see what the best setup is to others and collaborate on something decent UPDATES: 11/16/2017 - Already an update...I had to switch the fan direction, I couldn't get past 226C and I thought something was wrong. Blocked the fan just as a random thought and boom...heated up to temp easy. (fixed by changing fan speed in Slic3r..was always 100% before) 11/22/2017 - Converted back to a bowden setup and used a pretty compact version to save on wear and tear (also added lighting just for the heck of it) 11/30/2016 - Added Y piece + 2nd extruder. Next is to modify the pinout in Repetier to use the 3D scanner motor as the secondary extruder. 1/3/2017 - It's been a bit since I put an update. Redesigned an extruder, then mirrored one to get a little closer to dual extrusion. Also made a 3 spool holder right above the extruders. Next step now is uploading the software. Software: I'm realizing this hasn't really been done...so if anyone has feedback to get dual Y-bowden setup properly, let me know. I have an AIO that had the scanner, and see that the board is populated for 2. I've changed the pinouts in Arduino and verified with no errors, just haven't tested it yet
