Da Vinci Code Cryptex
thingiverse
I've explored other designs like the one found on thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:651654, but I wasn't satisfied with their wheel mechanics; they were too tight. So, I decided to create my own version tailored for this specific toy. The secret to this design lies in a fixed sequence of numbers, six of which must be chosen and printed beforehand. Although you can arrange these numbers in different sequences, personalization of the secret code is not fully possible with this design. However, it has its advantages: printing is faster due to fewer parts required, and the inside diameter offers greater usefulness. The prints come out beautifully! Instructions follow: First, familiarize yourself with the two main components: 1. **0-Cryptex-Base.stl**: The foundation piece that serves as the base of your toy. 2. **0-Cryptex-Movable.stl**: This part is what makes the secret spinning motion possible. To assemble your Cryptex, simply print both files, choose 6 numbers you'd like to keep as a secret, and proceed with assembly.
With this file you will be able to print Da Vinci Code Cryptex with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Da Vinci Code Cryptex.
