These parts are engineered to match the top steel frame of the Da Vinci 1.0A. Therefore, you need to remove the stock plastic casing. This happened to be true for me after I updated my printer's firmware to run Repetier. As a result, I had to create a filament spool holder and thought, why not extend its capabilities to support two filament spools? The axles/tubes were designed to print vertically, eliminating the need for supports except near the base. This was created using OnShape, but some solidworks files have been exported so others can develop their own versions from it.
