Da Vinci 1.0 Y Stepper Motor Bracket (with nuts !)
thingiverse
Tweaked the original bracket by lynce9956 to incorporate M3 nuts, which I secured firmly in place with epoxy. With this custom bracket and new stepper drivers installed, the sound of the stepper motors is almost imperceptible now. The most noticeable noise is actually coming from the E3D fan. To create an adapter for the stepper drivers, I employed long pin headers, carefully bending the pins into their correct position - a necessary modification due to the non-standard size of the stock drivers and the incompatibility of 3rd party drivers without some kind of adjustment. Long pin headers can be found at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121744153610?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
